April the Giraffe had already been a viral star months before then, after the owners of Animal Adventure Park, located in Harpursville, New York, began posting daily updates of her condition and set up a live stream "giraffe cam". The long-necked mom who starred in a livestream watched by millions while she was pregnant might be pregnant again, teased Jordan Patch, the owner of Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York.

"[April's] obviously very in tune to him and protective of him, but she's also allowing him to take on that independent trait that he has, which definitely comes from his father", Patch said, adding that the giraffe has "been an wonderful mother" to Tajiri. She became a sensation, inspiring copycat pregnant humans and even April merchandise.

Donnelly said the same thing: "All I can add is, stay tuned!"

"We can't confirm or deny that", Steven Donnelly told TODAY about the pregnancy speculation. "Are we ready for another giraffe cam, world?"

Thankfully, there's little to no wait if you simply want to see everyone's favorite giraffe family.

The zoo later said they let one of April's caretakers choose the name of the baby giraffe, which means "hope" in Swahili.

"She's obviously very in tune to him and protective of him, but she's also allowing him to take on that independent trait that he has, which definitely comes from his father", Patch said.

Tajiri has grown from standing 5 feet 9 inches tall at birth to nearly 10 feet.

He says that if April does conceive, the camera will likely move to another exhibit until she gets further along in her pregnancy.
