Ever since he left Liverpool for FC Barcelona, Philippe Coutinho has struggled to regain the kind of form that made him one of the top players in the Premier League.

While the signings of Antoine Griezmann and Frenkie de Jong have been completed, there are more on the list.

"Griezmann, It's magnificent!", Barcelona said in a video on Twitter to announce their forward's arrival.

"Atletico Madrid believes that the termination of the contract took place before the end of last season", the club said in a statement on Friday, adding that Griezmann had made that clear in his actions and words.

Griezmann was reported to have turned down a transfer to the Nou Camp last summer because he did not like the thought of being "Lionel Messi's lieutenant".

"Here I have new challenges, new targets and hopefully I can do it in the best possible way".

Antoine Griezmann has arrived in Barcelona ahead of his unveiling - and he insists he wants to make the giants even greater.

The Spanish champions had made the forward a priority in the window and chose to activate the 120m euro release clause in the World Cup winner's contract.

"I'll defend the Barca colours with all my determination and commitment".

Griezmann's release clause dropped from €200m on July 1, and sources told ESPN FC at the time that the Blaugrana were working on a deal for the attacker.

During five years with Atletico, Griezmann, a World Cup victor with France last summer, scored 133 goals in 257 appearances. During his tenure he won the Europa League, a Spanish Super Cup and a UEFA Super Cup with the Madrid side.

On Friday Atletico also unveiled Felix's former Benfica teammate Ivan Saponjic with the 20-year-old Serbian forward having signed a three-year deal with the Spanish club.
