Anna Faris reveals 'loneliness' before Chris Pratt split

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have announced their separation after 8 years of marriage.

Chris and Anna announced earlier this week in a joint statement that they would be "legally separating" after eight years of marriage.

While the former couple may have opposing viewpoints on having more children, they share the same love and connection to their son, Jack. According to sources, Anna Faris wants to have a family that is together all the time and, also more kids. The rumors started with some comments made on social media by Anna and Chris' fans, who accused Jennifer of breaking up this couple.

As for Chris, the outlet noted that he's at the top of his game right now and wants to keep going with his career, and that means being away from his family in LA for months at a time.

Chris Pratt talks about his wife Anna Faris of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. "Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment", she wrote in an Instagram post. She ended up divorcing her then-husband, Ben Indra, and began dating Chris.

But the signs were there way before their social media posts were shared with the world, especially from Anna's camp.

In a 2015 interview, Faris responded to persistent rumours Pratt was cheating on her, calling the tabloid speculation "stinging". "I think anytime you have two really hot stars in a movie together that naturally comes about". "And right now we are just trying to do what's best for our grandson".

Unsurprisingly, their social media announcements were met with devastation by fans, with Facebook users commenting the couple "seemed so ideal for each other" while others pleaded for them not to "stop trying" to make their marriage work. The statement Anna and Chris released was minimal and simple, and they have no obligation to their fans to disclose anything further about the very private and painful decision to end a marriage. "With that being said, I do feel like when I get upset, which is rare as my husband and family would say, I have a hard time letting go".
