Andy Cohen will co-host CNN's New Year's Eve celebration with Anderson Cooper.

The special will now be called "New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen", which starts on December 31, of course.

After running down everything that has happened to her recently, including her sister and her dog dying, her own mother taking Fox News' side, and calling Harvey Weinstein a rapist, she went after ex-friend Anderson Cooper.

Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper during happier times.

"I've been friends with Anderson for 25 years", said Cohen in CNN's press release. "We've travelled the world together and performed in 30 plus cities with "AC2" and it's all led to this one huge night!"

Several hours after the grotesque photo was posted - and her gigs and partnerships were canceled - Griffin issued an apology in a since-deleted video. 49-year-old Cohen tweeted. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate", he wrote at the time. Now it looks like Cooper's bestie Andy Cohen is taking her place.

Griffin was dropped from the celebration after doing a photoshoot in which she posed with the decapitated head of Donald Trump.

The comedian was sacked from CNN, lost a commercial endorsement deal, and was slammed by her co-host of a decade, Anderson Cooper, who called the photo shoot "clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate".
